Fourth states of matter

I remembered when I was grade 5, I learnt about the states of matter which are :

--Solid
--Liquid
--Gas

However, when I ask my teacher about the fourth states of matter. She only know that it was plasma. Even now when I study grade 9, my teacher has no idea about the fourth states of matter (plasma). So in this post, I will gonna to let my trusty robot explain about plasma.

(Q = Question , A = Answer)
Q1 : What is plasma?
A1 : When certain thing is ionizied (gaining or losing of electron), it will become an ion and it will produce something called plasma

Q2 : What are propertiesof plasma?
A2 : There are a few of them:
       - No definite shape
       - No definite volume unless in a
          enclosed container
       - Can be influence by magnetic
          field

Q3 : How can we know it is a plamsa?
A3 : Usually when a plasma is under a influencd of a magnetic field, it may form structures such as filaments, beams and double layers.

Q4 : What are the examples of plasma and how can you say it is a plasma
A4 :1) Stars and Sun
Stars and sun are formed by fusing hydrogen into helium by nucleus fission. When nucleus fission occurs, the helium is ionized and sometimes caused prominence and solar flare (which was just like flame and flare) happened on the surface of the sun. Actually, this phenomena is in the plasma states, not solid, liquid or gas.

      2) Plasma Globe
When we were small, we loved to play special things, like plasma globe. At that moment, we might think that the globe is magical. However the theory of the globe is consider in a plasma states. Why do I say that? Ok, let's see how it works. When we connect it with electricity, a high voltage travelled through the bulb in the middle, caused the gas around it is ionized. Then, it will produced filament which is a signal for plasma.

       3)Lighting
When a charged (positive/negative) cloud bumps into an uncharged cloud, the uncharged cloud become ionized and lighting occurs. The lighting is a signal of plasma.

Tips:
When you want to prove a thing is in the plasma state, first make sure a certain thing is ionized, then find the signal of plasma.
Ex 1:
Stars
Ionizied?  → Helium
Signal of plasma → Prominence & Solar flare

Ex 2:
Plasma Globe
Ionizied? → Gas
Signal of plasma → Filaments

Ex 3:
Lighting
Ionizied? → Cloud
Signal of plasma → Lighting
